KARRAS... not your older brothers metal!
this is an exact exert from the review of our CD in CITY LINK MAGAZINE on June 24, 2008 by writer/reviewer Jake Smith
The debut album by slop thrashers Karras is as dirty, chunky and disturbing as only a bunch of metal kids from a place like Margate could create. The band labels itself as hardcore, punk and metal on its Myspace page, and though the album's packaging resembles the low-budget CDs released by hardcore bands in the late 1980s, Karras sounds nothing like them. The group is the exact opposite of nu-metal acts such as Limp Bizkit and Korn, and that's a damn good thing nowadays, with the strange resurgence of that annoying genre in the local scene. The brutal, in-your-face sonic thrashing on the CD is as violent and horrific as the band's live shows, in which the two massive lead singers have been known to charge into the audience as if they were rhinoceroses trying to stamp out a fire."
